Synthetic Slings

Synthetic slings are used in various industrial environments to provide non-damaging lifting of loads. With designs that prioritise softness and flexibility, these slings can cushion delicate loads and mould around configurations of irregular loads where necessary. At Team Systems, our industrial webbing slings are available in various lengths and working load limits, enabling you to safely perform a variety of lifting applications regardless of the environment you work in. With warehouses located in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, we are reliable providers of material handling and warehouse equipment throughout Australia.

Where You Can Use Our Synthetic Slings

You can use our polyester slings in all kinds of industrial environments. These include use in warehouses, factories, storage facilities, docks, mines, construction sites and many other manufacturing and building industries. With our heavy-duty synthetic slings, you can increase the security and productivity of your workplace.

Our Range of Synthetic Slings

Our synthetic slings are available in varying dimensions, lengths and working load limits. As these impact how you use them, it is recommended that you ensure the lifting sling that you select for your work setting has the right specifications for your intended application.

Made with 100% polyester, our synthetic slings are designed for soft and flexible lifting, providing effective solutions for delicate and awkward loads. With robust safety tags and appropriate safety features, our slings provide the best in security for different types of applications. As we have both our flat webbing slings and round webbing slings on offer, you can conveniently use our slings for lifting applications such as lifting poles, pipes, stone and roofing sheets.

Flat Slings

Our Flat Slings have reinforced eyes on their ends to reduce wear and tear. Their wider surface areas (compared to round slings) enable them to be more durable, and the amount of pressure on the rigging strap is diminished. With a safety factor of 8 to 1 and full certification with Australian Standards AS 1353-1997, these flat polyester slings are perfect for industrial lifting. Additionally, they are available in capacities ranging from 1,000kg to 10,000kg and in lengths from 1 metre to 10 metres.

Round Slings

Our Round Slings have a protective cover that is wound together in a continuous coil to form an endless sling. They have a safety factor of 7 to 1 and are compliant with Australian Standards AS 4497-1997. You can choose a round sling in capacities from 1,000kg to 10,000kg and lengths from 0.5 metres to 10 metres.

Ensuring Your Safety with Our Lifting Slings

When it comes to preserving the safety of your employees and your workplace, there are a few safety precautions you can follow to ensure safe lifting applications. Firstly, it is a good idea to have your synthetic slings periodically tested by a certified inspector at least once every 12 months. Secondly, as rigging straps cannot be repaired in most cases, it is best to replace them once you have identified any damage or deterioration. Thirdly, avoid lifting loads over other people and leaving suspended loads unattended. Lastly, it is important to make sure that you are choosing the right lifting sling for your intended application. For a more durable sling that can endure abrasion and cuts, consider one of our Chain Slings and Components. Since our synthetic slings have a low resistance to heat, you should also avoid using them for high-heat applications. By following these safety measures, you can preserve the health and security of your employees when using industrial slings.

At Team Systems, we are dedicated to providing our customers with material handling and warehouse equipment solutions that emphasise safety and efficiency. By using our industrial synthetic slings, your employees can effectively perform a number of lifting tasks.
