Industrial skates are designed to assist in the transportation of heavy loads that would otherwise require expensive equipment. As these load moving skates help mobilise heavy equipment and machinery, they play a significant role in maintaining employee safety and productivity. At Team Systems, we have load skates for a number of applications, including load skates with turntables and positioning handles for convenient manual handling. Our warehouses are located in Dandenong South (VIC), Campbellfield (VIC), Wetherill Park (NSW), Hindmarsh (SA), Canning Vale (WA) and Yatala (QLD), making us dependable providers of industrial load skates throughout Australia.
Where You Can Use Our Load Skates
Due to their wide functionality, industrial load skates can be used in many work environments. You can use them in warehouses, factories, machine shops, workshops, garages, despatch departments and more. With our industrial skates, your employees can safely and securely transport hefty loads in the workplace.
Our Range of Industrial Skates
Our load skates are available with many different capacities, dimensions and number of wheels. Depending on the environment you work in and your intended application, it is important that you choose a load skate that is suited to your workplace’s conditions.
Industrial Load Skates
At Team Systems, we have industrial skates in a number of configurations. For example, load skates like our 2 Tonne Skates – FY02 have a low profile design and are fitted with a rubber surface to help protect and stabilise items from moving. They are also maintenance-free, have 2 load wheels and can support loads of up to 2 tonnes. On the other hand, while our 12 Tonne Skates – FY12 are also low height and have a large rubber top for the stability of goods in movement, they have 8 load wheels and can support loads of up to 12 tonnes.
Load Skates with Turn Tables
Unlike some load skates that have fixed tops, our Load Skates 4 Tonne – CTA4 feature turntables for easier steering. With heavy-duty polyurethane castor wheels, a rubber top for stability and an optional handle available, these load skates offer the best in durability and manoeuvrability. Additionally, our AQ-S30 – Skate is maintenance-free and available with either a rotating or fixed top. It also has 8 roller wheels for added traction and a capacity of 12 tonnes.
Load Skates with Positioning Handles
Some industrial skates, such as our 3 Tonne Skates – SFW03, have handles and can, as a result, be steerable. This is thanks to a 1-metre drawbar and platform that swivels on a thrust bearing. These load skates also have large surface area wheels for added stability, as well as 4 load wheels.
Corner Mover Skates
For equipment and items that have rectangular designs, our ABD101 – Corner Mover Skates are ideal for moving awkward rectangular loads. They also have a pressed aluminium construction, ball-bearing castor wheels and a capacity of 100kg each.
Ensuring Your Safety with Our Industrial Skates
While our industrial skates provide a secure and convenient solution to moving bulky items in the workplace, there are still some safety risks involved with transporting heavy equipment. As these can lead to muscle strains, back pain, hernias and various other injuries, it is vital that your employees appropriately operate industrial skates when they use them. In doing this, they can maintain workplace safety and productivity.
At Team Systems, we are dedicated to providing our customers with material handling and warehouse equipment solutions that centre safety and efficiency. By using our industrial load moving skates, you can safely manoeuvre heavy and awkward equipment in the workplace. With warehousing operations located in Dandenong South (VIC), Campbellfield (VIC), Wetherill Park (NSW), Canning Vale (WA) and Yatala (QLD), Team Systems is your trusted provider of industrial skates Australia.
